South African supergroups Freshlyground and Goldfish have collaborated to produce the official song for the South African Rugby Union’s 2011 World Cup Campaign.
The song, entitled Let’s Do It Again, will be released nationwide and will become the supporters anthem to back the Springboks towards a third World Cup crown.
‘It has been a lot of fun collaborating together’ says Dom, ‘You know, we’ve bumped into each other countless times at festivals and airports around the world, and now to be finally making some music together to unite the country behind our team is super cool.’
The two bands have been working intensively in their studios working on the track. ‘We’re very happy with how the song is sounding’ says Zolani, lead singer of Freshlyground. ‘ It’s been a lot of laughs working together and we’re really excited to see this song take on a life of it’s own.’
