Goldfish clinched the award for ‘Best Global Dance Album’ at the South African Music Awards, held at a glittering award ceremony at the Montecasino Teatro in Johannesburg last night.
‘We are beyond stoked!’ grinned Dom just after receiving the award, ‘It’s amazing to have the recognition from our home country of all the hard work we have been doing, both here and abroad – this is just the cherry on top!’
The Duo jet off to Ibiza in 3 weeks for therir Summer residency, which features appearences at David Guetta’s Famous FMIF Parties, as well as numerouse headlining slots on Festivals across Europe.
‘It’s amazing to see all the touring starting to pay off for us and we are super excited for the forthcoming European and US Summer season’ says Dave. ‘We’ve got some brand new tracks and some cheeky bootlegs we’re just itching to drop!
