Goldfish Open for Faithless

REAL CONCERTS PRESENTS FAITHLESS, LIVE IN SOUTH AFRICA, WITH GOLDFISH AS SUPPORT

Calling all the faithful. Dance legends Faithless are coming back to South Africa in February 2011.

…After a few months full of acclaimed festival appearances including V Festival and Glastonbury in the UK, Faithless have announced a nine date arena tour in the UK in December 2010 as well as coming back to South Africa on the 4 February 2011 at the Grand West Arena in Cape Town and Gallagher Convention Centre on the 5 February in Johannesburg.

With the full force of a band as hungry as when they set out fifteen years ago (before they’d racked up 10 million record sales), Faithless released new album The Dance earlier this year on their own label Nate’s Tunes. The Dance sees Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo reach the bar that their back-catalogue sets so high, and Maxi reckons its “chock-a-block with dance tunes which we hope will be the soundtrack to many Saturday nights for a while to come.”

And with a new record, comes a new chance to see a band who have inspired awe in even the most jaded gigger.

The full Faithless live experience will be exploding on stages in South Africa in February 2011.
If you have been to their shows before you would know the best thing to do is to get your ticket now, this is a show not to be missed.

***Goldfish Announced as Support Act***

A top 10 on the iTunes US Dance Charts, a track on Fatboy Slim’s Summer Mix, a Record 8 SAMA nominations and sold out shows from Ibiza to Brazil, Holland and beyond – it’s only fitting that South Africa’s hottest dance export support the legendary Faithless on their South African tour.

Goldfish need no introduction to local audiences, loved for their explosive live shows, surfer-dude charm and massive radio play that has made them a household name. Combining cutting-edge technology with dance beats and live instruments including Saxophones, Flute, Double bass and Keyboards, the Goldfish ‘Live’ experience is something to behold.

With a plethora of hits including Get Busy Living, Fort Knox, Soundtracks and Comebacks, Cruising Through and This is how it goes,
The Fishies have blazed a trail for all South African Electronic artists who follow in their footsteps.

Goldfish will be joined for these special performances by the Supremely talented vocalist Sakhile Moleshe(Fort Knox, Cruising, We Come Together) as well as Emily Bruce(Get Busy Living)
