Live Electronic duo Goldfish are back with a bang in 2013 with a brand new single: Take Back Tomorrow.
Goldfish are loved for their uplifting combination of analogue and electronic sounds with live jazzy saxophones, double bass and keys - but this single sees them swim into new and exciting musical waters. Having spent the latter part of 2012 back from their Ibiza residency and holed up in their Cape Town studio, The Fishies, Dom and Dave have been hard at work on their hotly anticipated new album Three Second Memory, out later this year on EMI/UMG.
Their first single of 2013, Take Back Tomorrow features driving basslines, thumping kicks and a Rockier sound. âThe track developed off an uplifting piano chord progression that Dom spontaneously played in the studio one morning and we had the whole song written by the end of the dayâ Says Dave. âSometimes a good track pops out in a couple of hours and sometimes it takes weeks or months to come out of the shadows of our imagination - but this one just wrote itself⌠Weâre really excited about this track and weâve been playing it out live with massive response, itâs huge!â
Goldfish are tipped to be an act to watch in 2013, with a brand new album, remixes and a world tour including UK, USA, Brazil, and Europe. The duo hold numerous SAMA awards, Platinum sales and a massive following in their home country as well as props from some of the worlds biggest Electronic artists including Pete Tong, Faithless, Sander Kleinenberg and Fedde le Grande.
